2020 Estate Grown Tannat: We chose our favorite barrel from the 2020 vintage and bottled it as our Estate Reserve.
Beginning with big aromatics of black currants, plum and dark cherry, the nose then leads into the more savory components of this varietal - anise, mushroom, tobacco and cedar. The palate is full of life and complex. Upon the first sip the wine expands on the palate with a great full-bodied weight and a predominant texture from beefy, yet soft, tannins.
Extended aging in Barrel and Bottle for deeper complexity, rich texture and silky tannins. This wine finishes ultra-sexy and complex.
